Our Mission Statement
Why The Church Exists
El
Golgota Church serves to bring individuals into a personal relationship
with Christ Jesus (Evangelism); lead them into a higher level of
worship (Exaltation); teach them godly principle by which to live
(Edification); prepare them in the development of their God-given
spiritual gifts (Equipping) and then release them in ministry to build
the kingdom of God (Extension).
The Five-fold Missions of the New Testament Church is...
1. Evangelism: We are called to evangelize and bring the lost into the Kingdom of God.
- "Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptized them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age." Mathew 28:19, 24
2. Exaltation: We are called to provide a place of worship.
- "Yet a time coming and has now come when the true worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:23, 24
3. Edification: We are called to discipline the believers so that the body of Christ can be edified.
- "We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." Colosians 1:28
4. Equipping: We are called to prepare the believers for works of service in the Kingdom of God.
- "It
was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, and some to
be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's
people for the works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built
up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the
Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the
fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13
5. Extension: We are called to be people of action, ministering the needs of those around us.
- "For
I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was a stranger and you
invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you
looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. The King will
reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of
these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Mathew 25:35, 36, 40

El Golgota sirve para brindar a cada individuo una relación personal con Cristo Jesús (Evangelismo), llevandolo a un nivel de adoración mas alto (Exaltación), Enseñándolo a vivir con principios piadosos (Edificación), preparándolo
en el desarrollo de sus dones espirituales, dados por Dios (Equipando),
y soltarlo en el ministerio para edificar el reino de Dios (Extensión).
La Misión y los cinco-propósitos de la Iglesia del Nuevo Testamento son...
1. Evangelización: Hemos sido llamados a evangelizar y a traer a los perdidos al reino de Dios.
- "Por tanto, id, y haced discípulos a todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espiritu Santo; enseñándoles a poner por obra todo los que les he mandado. Y sepan que yo estoy con ustedes todos los días hasta el final de los tiempos." Mateo 28:19, 20
2. Exaltación: Hemos sido llamados a proveer un lugar de adoración.
- "Ha llegado la hora en la cual los verdaderos adoradores adorarán al Padre, en espíritu y en verdad." El Padre quiere ser adorado asi, Dios es Espíritu, y los que le adoran, deben hacerlo en espíritu y en verdad. Juan 4:23, 24
3. Edificacion: Hemos sido llamados a instruir a los creyentes para que el Cuerpo de Cristo sea edificado.
- "A este
Cristo anunciamos nosotros, corrigiendo e instruyendo a todos lo mejor
que sabemos para que podamos presentar a todos plenamente maduros en su
vida cristiana." Colosenses 1:28
4. Equipando: Hemos sido llamados para preparar a los creyentes y equiparlos para el servicio del reino de Dios.
- "Y Él mismo constituyo a unos, apóstoles;
a otros, profetas; a otros evangelistas; a otros, pastores y doctores, a
fin de perfeccionar a los santos para la obra del ministerio, para la
edificación
del cuerpo de Cristo, hasta que lleguemos todos a la unidad de la fe y
del pleno conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, hasta que logremos ser hombres
perfectos, hasta que consigamos la madurez conforme a la plenitud de
Cristo." Efesios 4:11-13
5. Extensión: Hemos sido llamados a ser personas de acción, atendiendo a los que nos rodean en sus necesidades.
- "Porque
tuve hambre, y ustedes me dieron de comer; tuve sed, y me dieron de
beber; fui forastero, y me dieron alojamiento; necesite ropa, y me
vistieron; estuve enfermo, y me atendieron; estuve en la cárcel, y me visitaron." El Rey les responderá: "Les aseguro que todo lo que hicieron por uno de mis hermanos, aun por el mas pequeño, lo hicieron por mi." Mateo 25:35, 36, 40
